Femoral tissue/Transverse Upper Gracilis Flap (TUG Flap)

In this technique, skin and fatty tissue is transplanted microsurgically from the inner side of the thigh, along the inguinal fold, taking a small muscle (m. gracilis) with it.

The prerequisite is an excess of skin and fat in this area. Furthermore, the volume is limited with this technique. For these reasons, this technique is only used in certain patients.
